I was thinking the same thing, another news story(?) set out as a video game. Does anyone have a link to a just-the-facts version, because this one is a tl;dp (too long, didn't play). Also, we get dinged for playing video games during work time.
This is the type of slop that looks okay to amateurs but if you had a professional they could have tweaked this into a well made data visualization (like one you'd find on pudding.cool) rather than a slopified powerpoint presentation.
So funny to me how you wasted time giving all this feedback but OP is just going to feed it into Claude and not actually read anything you said. Don't reward people that don't care about what they're building with effort, it makes the world a worse place.
Halfway through the book myself, lotta good techniques on how to think about visualizing data sets. Found it way more accessible than many of the more academic books.
