Honestly in regards to data visualizations just look at others and copy them. For inspiration I heavily go to these two sites: https://pudding.cool/ https://www.datasketch.es/ One of the people behind data sketches recently came out with a good book on how to think regarding data vizs (and making them unique): https://www.visualcinnamon.com/chart/ Halfway through the book myself, lotta good techniques on how to think about visualizing data sets. Found it way more accessible than many of the more academic books. |
