What’s wrong with GPS though? Honestly the only reason not to have GPS in your car is because your phone is so much better at it, or if you never go anywhere new. If you want to disconnect, there are many cars that have GPS but no way to transmit data (and also no internet connection) GPS by itself only requires receiving signals after all. |

I use my phone's GPS quite a bit but the reality is that I have maybe one trip a year where I need it, and that can be handled by MapQuest beforehand - remember printing those?
