It's kind of funny to see the censor happy liberal left finally understand the slippery slope that is moderation, silencing of opinions and voices, censorship, free speech, etc... it's not an easy problem to solve and it creates a slippery slope.

This is why the 1st Amendment is so important and also why it was created not for the things that people want to hear, but for the things that they don't.

The 1st Amendment protects you and your speech from the government, not others. Important distinction; no one is entitled to an audience for their speech, but some frequently offer up the 1st Amendment as something requiring this.

I think it is optimal that Bluesky offers the ability to moderate via blocking, as this empowers users to ignore other users pushing content they wish to not see, while not overly infringing on other participants by deplatforming.
