The 1st Amendment protects you and your speech from the government, not others. Important distinction; no one is entitled to an audience for their speech, but some frequently offer up the 1st Amendment as something requiring this. I think it is optimal that Bluesky offers the ability to moderate via blocking, as this empowers users to ignore other users pushing content they wish to not see, while not overly infringing on other participants by deplatforming. |
