This is a very uncharitable and hatingly-blinded take.

Oh, no, are people being _uncharitable_ to the billionaire?

Like, there are limits. There’s only so much assuming of good intentions that it is reasonable to do.

I can't fathom how salty one can be over someone's wealth to have this level of hate for them but if it makes the pain/inequality hurt less then so be it I suppose.
Nah, I've no particular issue with him being rich; there are plenty of fairly inoffensive billionaires. I have issues with him being a bloody arsehole. I have noticed, however, that some people on here seem very keen to extend the benefit of the doubt to Musk and other rich people more than they would otherwise do.
Saying he deserves it is stupendously salty and hateful?
Absolutely. And explicitly calling out wealthy people for being wealthy just reeks of jealousy.
The original OP didn’t say anything about wealth, just that “it couldn't happen to a more deserving person.” It’s possible he wished failure on Elon for reasons other than his wealth (there are so many).
So? It's OK to hate some people, for the right reasons, that is.
