Note that the tweet you mentioned as proof is incorrect. I couldn't find the text quoted there, nor in the attached video.

I can see how some civilians were hit by the IDF as collateral damage, but it is not widely accepted that the IDF was "the biggest butcher of October 7th" as the tweet claims.

It wasn't collateral damage though, it was intentional. The IDF calls it the Hannibal Directive:

The Hannibal Directive refers to preventing the kidnapping of soldiers, and it seems that in this case, it applied to civilian kidnappings as well. However, as this interview states, it was still used to prevent captures, by shooting at vehicles approaching the fence and crossing the Gaza-Israel border.

I respect your opinion, but as far as I can tell, it was not the main cause of Israeli losses at the Nova festival (and certainly not in the October 7th attacks in general).
