I’m not sure if this is sarcastic, but yeah, gun control has worked so well for the UK that what they are worrying about are the 250 or so people killed a year by knives and other sharp objects, like broken bottles. Adjusted to the U.S. population that’s about 1500 deaths per year as opposed to around the 50,000 gun deaths the US sees in a year. |

The rate dropped 38% in the US and 27% in the UK, which banned handguns in 1996.
