I read they owe the MLB about $1 billion. I'm guessing this will take longer than the baseball season to go through bankruptcy court, but if the MLB gets the broadcast rights it could be interesting.

It might be fair for people who really like sports to pay for them direct-to-consumer but there is also the way you might get some random exposure (like the time I saw a women’s World Cup game between the US and Japan) and that makes you a fan.
