I posted earlier today and I don't see it in the Ask HN group, but maybe my vision is going bad. Here is the title:
Ask HN: Should vendor offer replacement installer if I did not buy suport?
I think it needs at least one upvote to be shown on the /ask list. Similar to the /show page "Every Show HN appears on shownew. Once it clears a small points threshold, it will appear on the show page in the top bar." (https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html)
New submissions are first listed on https://news.ycombinator.com/newest and there isn't always enough users looking and upvoting.
