While it’s true that Western media is biased as well, the crucial difference is that RT is owned and controlled by the Russian state. The Guardian is independent.

Also, no one at The Guardian will go to prison for 15 years for writing something that doesn’t fit the government’s narrative, and RT has not been blocked in the UK (or the USA), so The Guardian staff still have access to that.

I checked out RT once and found it to be full of shite, not worth my time. They were promoting crank conspiracy theories (unrelated to Russia, in some sort of attempt to get people to mistrust our own government and institutions).

RT has not been banned in the UK. (YouTube is not the UK).

And no, I am not saying everything on RT is 100% objective and unbiased.

Especially with programs as Crosstalk you can notice and certain bias from its host. But even that bias is not worse than what appears to be standard with Western propaganda.

Plus, even Crosstalk has guests who are much more objective than the show itself. For example, Daniel Lazare.

Then, you have Going Underground, which does question the Russian narrative to a very good and surprising extent. You wouldn't have that on Western TV.

No offence, but I politely ask you not to make such broad statements (which just repeat the official Western propaganda) if you do not really have experience with the program.

I'd recommend to check out https://rumble.com/c/RTNews and focus on the programs. The Donbass reports in-between are interesting, but certainly also propagate a narrative and appeal to your emotional side.

I am sorry, but then I question your qualification on that.

RT is pretty solid. The user comments on the site are quite bad, but that's it. The content itself is of a higher journalistic standard than what you can expect in its Western counterparts.

Sorry, no offence, but you shouldn't make statements, such as those you made, when you are barely familiar with the medium.

I am pretty familiar with RT and while I am not sure I'd agree with everything they say, their content is much less biased than what you get from the BBC and alike - and that is taking into account that the Russian government will certainly have an influence.

Yes it has. Why would Youtube censor RT in the UK but not in other places? Obviously the governments were involved.
