I have never microdosed, but I disagree on the pleasantries of walking in nature. Unless specific conditions apply like not being hot or too cold, walkability of the trail, etc. I find myself really stressed after a hike or an unwanted stroll. Insects, sweat, looking where you put tour steps or else…I get really annoyed.

YMMV but it’s probably just me I guess.

Edit: grammar

Yes, looks like these people are living in a temperate zone.

Try to walk through the jungle where I live and lets see after how many minutes you will want to breathe normal air again.

This is the most your-mileage-may-vary thread I've read on HN in a long time!

Taking some hongos with my buddies in the Yucatan was an experience I will always treasure. But at that point in my life it had been at least two months since I'd set foot in air conditioning, we were mostly living on the beaches (I was the token gringo).

If I go without any extended exercise for a while, this is how I feel.

If you force yourself to go for a hike/walk/jog etc, after a few times, that initial discomfort dissipates and it becomes a psychologically and physically rewarding experience. You go from feeling like shit the first few times to feeling refreshed afterwards.
