Quit. No second chances, no trial periods to see if the person will change. I know it is hard, you have invested some good years already. But how many more years do you want to live like this? If you do not want to burn the brigde, you can offer them to work for a fixed period of time (eg. 3 months) and with a lot less commitment (like 3-4 days a week) on making all the things ready for some replacement to take over. |
