Not very familiar with him but stumbled upon this a while ago and it's some of the worst business and personal advice I've ever seen: http://craigconnects.org/2014/12/knowing-when-to-keep-your-m.... I wondered if he has some screws loose after reading it. As someone deeply interested in UNIX history, it's also revisionist and dismissive of hard fought wins by people who don't cower like he did -- real UNIX is incredibly successful to this day.. SysV (Solaris/Illumos), BSD, etc. |
