This. Unless it impacts a major decision. The mind is like wet cement...once it forms an opinion it is almost impossible to change it. Especially because the folks you are referring to don't sound very open minded.

You have to realize that Changing your mind takes energy and effort...you need them to want to exert effort or you will be talking to a wall.
