I visited an orchard a couple of years ago. The owner stored his pears at 0 degrees celsius and apples a little bit warmer - 4 degrees celcius if I'm not mistaken. Since that day I've put my apples and pears in the refridgerator, and haven't had to suffer as many overripe pears and apples. |
