We exist to minimize the amount of time and effort our clients spend on bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes so that they can instead focus on the important stuff--running their business! We’re looking for a Lead UI/UX/Interaction Designer who can help us push the envelope on our product and create an iconic experience for our users. What you’ll do: Translate complex visions and product functionality into simple, streamlined, and elegant designs that emphasize minimal effort for our clients.
Create and communicate design principles and guidelines expertly for our products.
Evaluate web and mobile platforms/technologies and champion the right set of tools for inDinero.
Deliver detailed mockups, wireframes, and design assets.
Design tools and workflows for internal teams.
Run design reviews with cross-functional teams and conduct usability testing with external customers.
REQUIREMENTS We’re looking for someone who is: Passionate about design.
Eager to get to know our customers and understand what drives them.
Agile and experiment-driven.
Articulate, communicative, and opinionated (especially when it comes to design).
Experienced in design best practices and can suggest process changes to help improve efficiency in our design/product lifecycle.
Able to take leadership and ownership roles within the team to get features and projects done.
Willing and able to use anything from pencil and paper to Photoshop in order to sketch out their design vision.
Requirements: Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic/Visual Design, or other relevant field.
5+ years experience delivering websites, web apps, and/or mobile apps.
Experience launching v1 products.
HTML, JavaScript, CSS expertise.
An expert in design principles and methodology.
Bonus Points if you are familiar with financial management apps and/or accounting.
Must have an awesome online portfolio!
