Nobody has suggested this yet, but a co-working space is a great option.

If your company doesn't already have servers you can work from (ie. a VPN), then just buy yourself a $5 dollar server and run OpenVPN on it (and then work from the co-working space).

Also, never work alone and rather sit amongst the other workers. Talk and chat like you would in an office.

On the days when you need quiet and focus, you work from home.

Good luck.

I'll take that into account, but right now I'm more interested in improving my free time. Working from home is perfect right now. :)
I think that's what phantom_oracle is getting at. Being in a co-working space will put you around other people and increase your chances of doing activities in your free time with them.
Sounds like you want your cake and to eat it too.
Why? I went from having very limited free time due to having a commute to having at least 3 - 5 hours every day after work. Even more if I woke up earlier.

I'm interested in learning how to use those hours that I never had before because I have been marathoning Netflix series and I'm not so sure that's good for me in the long run.

Because you want the social aspects of office work, while not having to leave your home.
