Even though sometimes you look like a tpurise (on the London underground for example), in the London Overground you do need to press the button or your specific door will not open... I think knowing which buttons are placebo, and which work does give you a happy sense of smugness similar to knowing exactly the door to get in and off the train when you need it. |
