Peter Thiel (Paypal cofounder) has a net worth of 1.3 billion, which is a hell of a lot more than 100 million. He has already said he believes in the concept and donated money to the 'seasteading institute'. Obviously either it isn't worth that much to him, or 1.3 billion isn't enough for it to be reliably done. |
