We’re building the Connected Kitchen, starting with a new kind of cooking appliance which uses the latest food science and high accuracy sensing to cook restaurant-quality food, more conveniently then possible ever before. Here’s who we’re looking for:
• B.S. or equivalent in EE
• At least 3-5 years of board-level design— AC, digital and some RF (you don’t have to be an antenna guru, although we don’t mind if you are)
• Experience with the whole cycle, from getting boards built, testing and debugging, certification and into manufacturing
• Solid hands-on skills; we have a tech, but you should be able to build and modify your own boards. Good with scopes, logic analyzers, SMT, etc.
• Startup mind. You do whatever is needed. You identify problems, take initiative to fix them. You can manage yourself and your vendors effectively. Nice to have:
• Experience with UL and FCC certification. Appliance background even better.
• Willingness to travel to Asia, specifically China, to support manufacturing
• Firmware skills and experience
• Some mechanical assembly and test skills
• Shipped consumer electronics
Benefits of working at Cinder:
• Healthy lunch provided daily, plus lots of great food samples in testing
• Discounted product
• Team has shipped high volume products from Jawbone and Orbit Baby, as well as launching space vehicles with Lockheed and sensor research at Xerox PARC
• A product people really love-- change how people cook and eat at home every night APPLY: https://angel.co/l/Hskyh |
