Is there any way to turn it off? Deadly reentry was the primary reason why I never got around to installing FAR.

There is a slider in the options menu that you can set to 0 that will turn it off.

Wonderful. I'll certainly try building stuff with heat shields, but I have a feeling I'll have that set somewhere pretty low :)
