IE<11 on Windows 7 require TLS1 or SSL3, which is not approved by PCI DSS :( How will that work in reality?

The deadline is mid-2016, and you can enable TLS 1.1/1.2 on any IE version on Win7, even if it is not enabled by default.

Microsoft could push a security update enabling TLS 1.1 and 1.2 by default?

(I'm not saying they will, but they could.)
