Well it's meant only for the American Market (no 4G elsewhere and calls very expensive). So that Americans traveling aboard don't have to pay insane amounts of money. I for example have to get a new sim card each time I travel to a new country, it is a pain. With Google I can just keep their plan, and not worry about getting a local sim card. Most americans don't travel for an entire month, so we have to pay our monthly plan anyways. This just allows us to use our phone for free without paying extra in other countries. |
