Hey afandian, It's a similar concept, although tip4commit was causing issues with gaming/controller what gets works on, where as Huzza is for tipping songs and musicians that already exist, so we don't see the same problem happening. Thanks! I was talking specifically about causing tax problems. In that other thread there were some very vocal people who seemed to be talking about real problems, so I was curious.

(I'm not a recording musician, but some of my friends are)

That's an interesting point that we haven't encountered at all. I think open source projects aren't always set up for receiving money (and thus causing tax issues) whereas musicians would normally be set up to handle their taxes. In the sense that any additional income would have tax consequences this would too. But if any musician wanted to not receive tips we would gladly remove them from our index.
