Honesty in business: My experience tells me that in the long-term nothing beats honesty in business. My fathers' small business showed me that. By the other hand, in the short-term things are less clear. I've worked in a startup where "loosen ethics" really speeded up things. Without it probably this startup wouldn't have survived. The main problem is that "loosen ethics" normally mirror the CEO's character and this will not be just a temporary behaviour. |
