It is a red flag, but they may be in a hurry to get someone on board or maybe misspoke about first to say yes is in. If you think you can learn, level up your skills there and the compensation is satisfactory I would lean toward accepting. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Don't let an opportunity slip by. You can always give it a go, see how you like it, learn and add to your resume. Then if it's not working out you can look for a new position. |
