Ok, that is a new spin on the resin printers. I have wondered about ways to 'scan print' an entire layer rather than draw it out with a laser. Given the translucency of the uncured material the ability to project on the membrane is really cool. And I am waaaay relieved they raised 40M in a series A rather than have this be a link to a kickstarter (which I feared) since bringing this to market isn't a kickstarter level kind of thing. Now if they can stay disciplined and not waste the $40M it could be very interesting. |
