That's actually an example that I am Okay with. Machines can be a benefit or a hazard etc... This one is harmless (and potentially useful to some), because: - it's not 'Following' anyone - it's not Retweeting other accounts (not on the surface at least) - you don't get to see it on your timeline (unless you're one of the followers), so it's not cluttering anything - it's not promoting any products, so it's not ending up on any third-party reports that agencies will then bill to the advertiser. I like machines, and I think machines should be on Twitter (if they play by the rules), and they can be incredibly effective. |
