You tell them the number you want, and you round waaaay up, of you reply "Confidential", or "X-to-Y, variable". I had a hiring manager push me hard for this info at one job. I ended up taking the job (maybe lower pay than I could have gotten) and he turned out to be one of the worst people to teamwork with at the company. |
