I think you've misunderstood the context of the title. It's in reference to a milestone being reached (ie Shumway now supports playing Amazon.com videos) rather than Shumway's end goal. From the discussion on HN, it sounds like Shumway aims to be a drop in replacement for Adobe's Flash plugin. |
