With print on demand these days, it's cheaper to print a single copy of a 400 page full color photo book at blurb than these text books. Ridiculous. This is easily doable with digital printing now to get the costs down to say $40 for a few hundred copies still room for people to profit. It takes some courage and a movement within the universities and community colleges to start making dents in the industry. |
