When you modify a name/avatar on Slack, the change is made globally it affects all previous messages, etc. There are only 4 of us that use Slack, and you can see our user handles on the left under "DIRECT MESSAGES". No one is using the handle 'Elon Musk' or 'Cal Henderson'. |
