I don't know if this was a typo or intentional, but I like it very much as an unobtrusive and religion-neutral substitute for "Thank God". I will probably use it in future (maybe even without attribution :-) ).

"Thank goodness" is popular with the people who think "Thank God" is blasphemous.
Most people I know say thank goodness because god doesn't exist.

Sure, and with others; but I have never heard "Thank good" before.
