Define won. This is the way I see it. Perl5 is still being actively developed, perl6 is coming along nicely, cpan more awesome than ever, and there's still work for a perl dev. If everyone was using the same language, then we'd all suffer because no one would be getting the new ideas. Competition keeps things healthy. |
