I recently started trying out both Tiddlywiki and Zim Wiki, and I'm starting to like Zim better. With Tiddly I didn't feel like I had stuff really organized. Of course you can search, but it didn't feel right for me. With Zim everything is in plain text files, and it integrates with version control. This makes things more transparent (to me at least), and you can still use some useful things like filtering with tags, searching, todo-list overviews, etc. |
