If you do decide to work together, be sure to have a strong legal agreement between you two. Especially, if you bring them on as a co-founder. Key points:
- Stock vesting
- Dispute resolution
- Out clause
- the usual boiler plate Otherwise, if things don't work out (and if they are a friend, it can get nasty) you want to have a clear plan that everyone has agreed to. |
