To clarify, I'm not asking for a monolithic stack. I like the modularity. It's just getting confusing to those that don't look at this stuff every day. It's more of an ergonomic issue than an approach issue. There could be some simple solutions to this, mostly centering around education and the promotion of the most popular components. I don't have answers, here, but figured I'd share that it's getting a little confusing in case someone had ideas. |

I fully agree, I find the whole ecosystem really confusing. Every time I look at it there's some new combination of things, but then one turns out to be alpha/beta ...
What I hope is that the production of these new docker 'blessed' tools will allow me to go to their homepage and see a series of "getting started" tutorials and easily installable tools so I can at least get going.
