Ask HN: Image (ddrescue / dd / Ghost) windows phone 8X?

Hi,

Is there ANY way to get the internal phone storage as a block device so it can be imaged (dd / ddrescued / Ghost)? It's an HTC windows phone 8X, internal storage only ( i.e.: without an external sdcard).

use case:

-Restore deleted files

-Restore/fix a corrupt file system & get back files after a crash

-Full system backup for quick restore w/o re-installing, updates all over again

[No problem to root the phone or disassemble and directly connect to the chip]
