Have you read this article on Business Week? http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/11_24/b42320567... Talks about Nokia's strategy and it does look like there was buy-in on the decision from management and the board. Also, they had hired a Strategy House - can't remember which (either BCG or Bain) to bolster their conclusions. Am sure there were agreements and Elop wasn't a one-man army. |
