Yes, there are "salad dressings", "sandwich spreads", and the like in the condiment aisle. No, they're not called "mayo". Note that Hellman's/Best Foods biggest competitor, Kraft, makes both a mayonnaise ("Kraft Mayo") and a salad dressing ("Miracle Whip"). |
