High-friction pads do indeed make fine movements difficult--with a very gentle push, your fingertip doesn't move at all, until it overcomes static friction and jumps several pixels. I found a trick to get around that a while back: When small movements are needed, don't slide your finger but roll it. No friction involved, that way. |
