I don't believe that there is any evidence that implicates the US government in "drug dealing". The Kerry Committee concluded that the CIA had looked the other way when its Contra clients smuggled drugs. That's a very different claim than the one you seem to be making, which likens US actions to the British Empire during the opium wars. How about "drug trafficking"? If you're an organization with no real oversight, unfettered global access, and are above the law, why not pick up extra cash for special projects?
