Honestly Kotlin has 80% of the complexity of Scala, 20% of the functionality, almost no library ecosystem and 0 stable releases. I don't know why so many people consider it a serious choice. If you want java with type inference you can use Xtend they have had many stable releases and it has excellent tool support. |
