I don't think it was like the PT Cruiser which was just garbage both in and out. The Aztek was just a really ugly car, and I think that was more than enough to kill it.
And for some reason, I remember the PT Cruiser was actually _really_ popular when it came out. I think it's in the top 10 goofiest looking cars on the road these days, but even I thought it looked nice at first
