Entry level can be pretty different. They're looking at potential rather than ability and things can be competitive (depending on the specific skills or organisation). I'm really thinking about programmers with 5 - 10 years of experience who still struggle to reason their way out of a wet paper bag or produce anything but the most obvious and narrowly scoped solution to problems. |
