Good article and pretty timely with the release of Destiny, which suffers greatly from the issues mentioned here: masking addictive random-number-generator gameplay and lackluster storytelling with great visuals and promises that this is just the foundation and the game will become much better with DLC. Many things that Bungie had been famous for doing, such as great story telling and smart AI, were completely absent with this game. And they made $500 million on the first day despite this… |
