TLDR: The Iphone 6 plus can never show a sharp picture, unless the application-UI is adapted to be unsharp on all other displays.

Not the case at all. Anyway, anything rendered into a retina resolution is going to be quite sharp.

If this article is true then "The Iphone 6 plus can never show a sharp picture" seems correct (your 3x assets will be scaled to 2.6x).

What part of this do you think breaks other displays, though?
