Glaring logical conclusion that is omitted: if there even is the slight bump in the likelihood of success having worked for someone else vs. not, it's still clear that simply the number of attempts at starting a company is still the overwhelmingly more important factor in overall success. It doesn't dismiss the point as the author is refuting a specific claim made by PG and others (that you will be better off in your second startup having learned from doing another startup vs. having a job) but it's still worth noting. |
