> unfortunately that's what we Linux users have to contend with for now. And my point is that any sale of a Lenovo Thinkpad does zilch to solve it, and only reinforces their position of Windows-only. So if you do go and buy that ASUS / Samsung / Apple notebook, and put Linux on it, that means the next time you are looking for a notebook, you will have to do the exact same thing because nobody is buying Linux machines to show the market there is any demand. |
